BendFlow Protect Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
1. Scope
This policy explains how BendFlow Plumbing LLC, doing business through BendFlow Protect, handles information in this member portal. It covers homeowner applications, account access, inspections, service requests, repair histories, invoice records, and related customer communications.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and account details, including name, email, phone number, and sign-in identity.
- Protected password hashes for homeowner and approved staff sign-in, email verification and reset records, and secure session cookies. Homeowners use their phone number as the username and approved staff use their work email; your password is not stored in readable form.
- Property details, service address, bathroom count, plumbing-access notes, and home-system information.
- Membership applications, approved pricing, acknowledgments, electronic signatures, and signature audit information.
- Inspection findings, notes, and photographs of plumbing fixtures, equipment, visible damage, or other conditions relevant to the service visit.
- Service requests, repair records, monthly-benefit usage, and invoice information.
- App terms acceptance records, including the verified account, acceptance date, terms and privacy versions, and the terms shown at acceptance.
- Technical and security information needed to operate the portal, such as browser, device, session, delivery-status, and network information.
3. How we use information
We use this information to:
- create and manage BendFlow Protect accounts and membership records;
- perform inspections, respond to service requests, document repairs, and track the monthly labor benefit;
- provide applications, signed agreements, invoices, reports, and customer service;
- send account, application, scheduling, service, billing, and security communications;
- protect the portal, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.
4. When information is shared
We may share information with service providers that help operate the portal, authenticate users, deliver email, manage records, or provide other business services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the business, or as part of a lawful business transfer. Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their work and are expected to protect it.
5. Retention and security
Inspection drafts created by technicians may be saved in that device's browser until they are submitted or cleared. Draft photographs are stored privately for a limited period while the inspection is in progress. Submitted inspection photographs become part of the property's service record and are available only to authorized BendFlow personnel and the homeowner account associated with that property. The remaining records may be retained while an account is active and afterward when reasonably needed for service history, accounting, dispute resolution, safety, or legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices
You may ask BendFlow Plumbing to review or correct your contact and property information, update your communication address, request a paper copy of an electronic record, or ask a question about retention. Some records may need to be kept for completed services, signed agreements, accounting, safety, or legal requirements.
7. Children and policy updates
The portal is intended for homeowners, authorized property representatives, and BendFlow personnel, not children. We may update this policy as the portal or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest version.
8. Optional communication choices
Public service inquiries and membership applications may include separate, optional choices for service text messages, promotional text messages and marketing email. All choices start unchecked. We record the choices you submit, the disclosed wording and version, the contact details entered and the time our server received the request. An unchecked box provides no new consent and does not override an earlier opt-out.
Submitting a request asks our office to respond to that request. It does not enroll you in a marketing campaign. Text and marketing choices are saved for office review; automated text and marketing enrollment are not enabled by these forms. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase or membership.
If a text program is enabled after review, its disclosed message types, variable frequency, possible message and data rates, STOP opt-out and HELP instructions apply. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared for third-party marketing. Contact billing@bendflowplumbing.com or call 704-491-4939 to ask about or change a saved preference.
9. Google Calendar connection
Only authorized BendFlow office staff connect the business Google account. Homeowners do not authorize access to their personal Google accounts. We read the connected account’s calendar list to locate the configured business Calendar, read busy start and end times to offer available service windows, and read relevant event details to prevent duplicate reservations and verify saved events.
For eligible service requests, the portal sends the request number, customer name, contact details, service address, service category, urgency, issue and contact notes to Google to create a private event on the business Calendar. A callback inquiry creates a transparent all-day office follow-up item. This integration does not invite customers, add conferencing, or edit or delete existing Calendar events.
We store busy start and end times, synchronization coverage, request outcomes, event identifiers and links, and connection status in the portal database. Google application credentials and offline authorization tokens are protected on the server; credentials entered through office setup and saved offline tokens are encrypted. They are not returned to homeowner pages or placed in event descriptions.
Google Calendar data is used for BendFlow service scheduling, availability, duplicate prevention and related office review. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or training generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Access is limited to authorized BendFlow personnel and service providers needed to operate these features. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The Google account owner can revoke BendFlow’s access in their Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revocation stops future authorized Google access but does not itself remove existing Calendar events or service records. Contact billing@bendflowplumbing.com to request removal of saved connection data or ask about deleting associated records; completed-service and other records may be retained for the purposes described above.
